The AI Nurses network comprises an interdisciplinary team of nurses and AI experts.

Lead

Dr Siobhán O’Connor

Dr O’Connor is a Senior Lecturer in the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Palliative Care at King’s College London. With a multidisciplinary background in nursing and informatics, she undertakes AI research in nursing and leads the AI Nurses network.

Professor Rebecca Oakey

Professor Oakey is a Professor of Epigenetics and Dean of Doctoral Studies at King’s College London. She leads King’s Innovation Scholars Programme and supports the provision of AI education and training in the AI Nurses network.

Professor Emma Stanmore

Professor Stanmore is Professor of of Nursing at the University of Manchester. She has over 25 years combined experience in healthcare, research, and higher education with a particular focus on health innovation to support healthy ageing. She supports the AI Nurses network by facilitating seed funding and networking events.

Dr Crina Grosan

Dr Crosan is a Senior Lecturer at King’s College London who researchers artificial intelligence in healthcare. She supports the AI Nurses network by facilitating seed funding and networking events.

Professor Jackie Sturt

Professor Jackie Sturt is a Professor of Behavioural Medicine in Nursing at King’s College London. She conduct research across several physical and mental health conditions and supports the AI Nurses network by facilitating seed funding and networking events.

Dr Suzanne Bench

Professor Suzanne Bench is a Professor of Critical Care Nursing at London South Bank University and Director of Nursing (Research) at Guy’s and St. Thomas NHS Foundation Trust. She supports the AI Nurses network by facilitating seed funding and networking events.

David Woodcock

David Woodcock is the Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) representative on the AI Nurses network team. He worked in central government, the National Health Service (NHS) and IT throughout his career. He supports the seed funding and networking events.
